This blog is dedicated to strabismus in both children and adults. The name “ChildhoodStrabismus.com” was inspired by my son’s condition at an early age; however, as this site evolved I found more and more adults posting stories and comments about their own conditions.
Browse the articles and information and of course please consider downloading my book, “Our Journey with Strabismus“ <– (Click Title for Details). My oldest child has strabismus and his story serves as an inspiration to other families going through the same condition. Whether you or your child will soon undergo strabismus surgery or if you are reading up as you begin your journey based on a recent diagnosis, I hope this site helps you and others understand more about strabismus. A particular focus of this site is in understanding the emotional and psychological aspects that accompany your journey in learning about and treating strabismus and I hope you will share your own stories and comments.
