As we lived our journey, we wrote down the questions we had and the questions we saw unanswered online in the many user groups and forums. Now, 4 years later we have the experience and wisdom to contribute to your journey. Today our journey continues with faith and confidence, but it did not come without sadness and tears along the way. We hope that our story helps you to reach a similar level of confidence and comfort while helping to minimize the emotional roller-coaster that may already be part of your experience.

Dreams do come true! |
Something we learned early on and that we discuss in our book, is the importance of celebrating each victory along the way, no matter how minor it may seem at the time. And when you face a large victory, the ability to give your family a celebration that is memorable. We had the very fortunate opportunity to treat our family to a day at Disney Land while visiting other family members in California. Each celebration does not have to be extreme, but you should realize the importance of boosting your child's confidence in the face of the world that we live in. As you continue down your journey, you'll often find that when the rest of the world isn't being rude, it is being indifferent to your situation. Give your child the gift of confidence as you face this world together.
